"Whidbey 7" is a gel-printed, original on 8" x 8", 140lb—cold-press watercolor paper.
This printmaking method primarily uses acrylic paint, but some of my rocks use mixed media printing techniques such as oil pastel resists, soft pastel or charcoal transfers, or acrylic markers.
The rock used as inspiration comes from my personal collection, which is mostly collected along the shores of beautiful Whidbey Island, WA. I include each inspiration rock with the purchase of the original piece. (Shown in the upper left corner of 2nd image.)
