Let's Party Bouquet | Original Floral Collage on Wood Panel, 11" x 14"

"Let's Party Bouquet" is an original mixed media collage of a colorful, pattern-filled bouquet in a patchwork vase on an 11" x 14" wood panel, made from my handmade gel printed papers.

The bright red, blue, and yellow blooms of my Flower Play series are grounded by deep green backgrounds that make every color pop. To bring in more texture I used machine stitching to outline the patchwork vase and frame the edge of the piece.

About the Flower’s Play Series

Every paper used in this piece was created by me. Some were left over prints from my Child’s Play Series, which focused on vintage Bingo game imagery, but many new prints were a wonderful exploration in creating floral shapes inspired by my daughter.
