Turn patterns and soft color blends into handmade ornament gift tags and cards using a gel plate!
In this video workshop, you'll start by drawing simple patterns right on your gel plate with acrylic markers. Then you'll learn brayer techniques for smooth, well-blended color gradients with acrylic paints before pulling your prints. Finally, you'll cut your finished prints into ornament shapes for gift tags or cards.
No acrylic markers? No problem! I'll also show you a second way to build patterns using paint and small found textures for mark-making, finished with the same gradient technique.
